Domestic Goddess

This is going to sound very *house~wifey*, but I LOVE kitchenware. Le Creuset, Chicago Metallic, All-Clad, Emile Henry....I would gladly accept you in my home over a new pair of kick ass heels ANYTIME. Oh my, I must be growing up?! Look ma :)

Anyways, I was running errands during my lunch break and stumbled upon a little treasure called The Cupcake Courier. It was the last one in stock so I am assuming it is pretty popular. This case has three removable trays and will hold a total of 36 cupcakes. It's perfect for transporting cupcakes place to place while holding them steady. The ONLY thing that I don't like about it is the handle is pretty wide and not ergonomically friendly. When you have the case fully loaded with cupcakes it's VERY heavy and difficult to carry for a long period of time. Perhaps I should develop my own line of cases. Hmmmmmm!

Today I delivered my 18th cupcake order (Thanks Yelp) to a sweet girl named Rosa. The sweet treats were a surprise for her brother and sister-in-law's 10th wedding anniversary and she requested a l-o-v-e theme. Congrats to Hilda & Juan!!!!

Say a little prayer for those affected by the Santa Cruz Mountian fires. We have had crazy weather up here the last couple of days and it looks like it may shower tomorrow. Hopefully the wind will die down and the firefighters will be able to contain the blaze.

Enjoy your Memorial Weekend everyone. I am going to chill out and reeeeeeelax. XOXO

Candy Cuppies

This weekend I made a fun batch of cuppies for a sweet girl named Elaine who was celebrating her 18th birthday. She knew exactly what she wanted and was kind enough to share her vision with me by emailing me the photo below.

Based on the information that I received, this is what I came up with. She also requested the chocolate squares with her name and new age of 18. I had a lot of fun making these colorful cuppies. What do you think?

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to my talented Mom, Brenda. She lives in Washington so we will not be spending this special day together. However, she will be coming to visit next month and I am BEYOND excited!

My Mom makes the most beautiful baked goods. She made these gorgeous cupcakes for my brother Jake's class for Teacher Appreciation Day. Aren't these cuppies lovely?
