Happy Birthday C~Love!

Happy Birthday to my beautiful friend & creative soul~sister Christina! Our girls came together last night to celebrate the life of this lovely lady. These are photos of her special birthday cupcakes that reflected one of her many passions = sunflowers!

I baked my signature Red Velvet cupcakes because my girls love them. The white & dark chocolate sunflowers are handmade by me and dusted with a shimmery luster dust to really bring out the petals. The cupcakes look super elegant and reflect my sweet Christina perfectly.

Girly Cakes

I had a fun filled deco night that ended early this morning. Here are some photos of what I came up with :)

For my friend Tisha's sisters baby shower I did Red Velvet's and Double Strawberry cupcakes. I love how the daisy's came out. I colored the fondant light pink and dusted each flower with a gorgeous iridescent luster dust.

Think PINK! For Shauna's 30th Birthday.

These fun cupcakes are for Amanda's Sex and the City movie night!

Not so girly, but oh so good! Cookies and Cream cupcakes and Double Chocolate. Got milk?

Red Velvet Madness

For the past three years, my baking as become more than a *hobby* for me. I recently was reviewed on Yelp and since then I have been averaging at least 3 requests a week. Because I work a regular 9-5, sadly I am unable to accommodate every order. When I am able to help my fellow cupcakes lovers, 99% of the time the cupcake flavor request is Red Velvet.

Yesterday, I made the most PERFECT batch of cupcakes EVER. I think I discovered the technique for the best *muffin top*. While I would love to share this secret, I think that some things are best left unsaid. :)

I topped the cupcakes with a delicious Vanilla Buttercream and fondant flowers dusted with edible sparkle. Too bad you don't have a *taste button* on your keyboard.
